Dear friends, family, and fans of Oskar Werner,

This year marks our father’s 100th anniversary. Born November 13, 1922 as Oskar Josuf Bschließmeyer into the poorest of Vienna, our father overcame countless challenges to achieve his dream of being an actor. He was a complex human being with many flaws but instilled in us a respect and passion for the power of the arts. After numerous years of being silent, we have decided these times warrant revealing more about his career and personal life and how it shaped his craft and world view.

There will be numerous exhibitions and publications this year, as well as a documentary. We hope you enjoy and are inspired. Please comment in the guest book and let us know your thoughts.
